Thermowell (Protection Tube)
A thermowell is a protection tube that protects the sensor from the process fluid when a thermocouple (DTC / DST), RTD (DRB / DSR) or temperature transmitter (DHRT / DHTC) is installed in a pipe or vessel.
Material, connection type, insertion length, etc. are specified at quotation to match the mounting conditions (Screw & Flange) of the temperature sensor used with it.
